These Terms work alongside our other legal policies. Before using EdgeBreak, connecting a brokerage account or purchasing a subscription, we recommend reviewing the resources below to better understand how the platform operates and your responsibilities as a user.

Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms & Conditions form a legally binding agreement between you and EdgeBreak, operated by Crane Platform Labs. By accessing, creating an account or using any part of the EdgeBreak platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms.

These Terms apply to all EdgeBreak services, including research tools, educational resources, subscriptions, watchlists, portfolio management features, broker connectivity, APIs, mobile and web applications, and any future products or services made available through the platform.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not access or use the EdgeBreak platform. Continued use of EdgeBreak constitutes your ongoing acceptance of the current version of these Terms.

Eligibility & Your Account

To use EdgeBreak, you must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction and comply with all applicable laws. You are responsible for maintaining accurate account information and protecting the security of your EdgeBreak account.

• Accurate Information – You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information when creating or updating your EdgeBreak account.
• Account Security – You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password, authentication credentials and any devices used to access your account.
• Authorised Use – Your account is intended for your personal use only unless otherwise authorised by EdgeBreak in writing.
• Unauthorised Access – You must notify EdgeBreak promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission or your security credentials have been compromised.
• Compliance – You agree to use EdgeBreak only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms & Conditions.

Platform Services

EdgeBreak is a NASDAQ stock research platform designed to help users organise market research, analyse price action and manage their own investment research workflow. Platform features may evolve over time and may be added, modified or discontinued at EdgeBreak's discretion.

• Research Tools – Access structured market research tools, watchlists, scanners and charting features designed to assist with analysing NASDAQ-listed securities.
• Educational Resources – Access articles, tutorials, the EdgeBreak Academy and other educational content intended to improve market knowledge and research skills.
• Personal Workspace – Save watchlists, organise research, maintain journals, monitor portfolios and manage your personal trading workflow.
• Broker Connectivity – Where available, securely connect supported brokerage accounts using OAuth to access authorised portfolio, account and trading features.
• Subscriptions – Certain platform features may require an active paid subscription and may vary depending on your membership level.
• Future Services – EdgeBreak may introduce additional products, services, integrations or functionality as the platform continues to develop.

Subscriptions & Billing

Some EdgeBreak features require an active subscription. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to the applicable pricing, billing arrangements and subscription terms displayed at the time of purchase.

• Subscription Plans – EdgeBreak may offer free and paid membership plans with different levels of platform access and functionality.
• Secure Payments – Subscription payments are processed securely by Stripe. EdgeBreak does not collect or store your complete payment card information.
• Automatic Renewals – Unless cancelled before the renewal date, subscriptions may automatically renew using your selected payment method.
• Managing Your Subscription – You may upgrade, downgrade or cancel your subscription through your EdgeBreak account, subject to the terms applicable to your membership.
• Pricing Changes – EdgeBreak may update subscription pricing, features or membership options. Any changes will apply to future billing periods and will be communicated where required.
• Free Trials & Promotions – Promotional offers and free trials may be available from time to time and are subject to their specific terms and conditions.

Broker Connections & Third-Party Brokerage Services

EdgeBreak may allow you to securely connect supported third-party brokerage accounts to enhance your research workflow, portfolio management and trading experience. Broker connectivity is optional and is provided solely with your express authorisation.

• Optional Integration – Connecting a brokerage account is entirely optional. You may continue using EdgeBreak without connecting a broker.
• OAuth Authentication – Broker connections are established using secure OAuth authentication provided by the brokerage. EdgeBreak never requests, stores or has access to your brokerage username or password.
• Authorised Access – By connecting a brokerage account, you authorise EdgeBreak to access only the information and permissions necessary to provide the features you choose to use.
• Broker Responsibility – Brokerage accounts, trading services, account balances, order execution and custody of assets remain the sole responsibility of your selected brokerage provider.
• Third-Party Terms – Your relationship with your brokerage provider is governed by that provider's own terms, privacy policy and legal agreements in addition to these Terms.
• Disconnecting Your Broker – You may disconnect a supported brokerage account at any time. Disconnecting a broker will prevent future synchronisation, although certain records may be retained where required for operational, security or legal purposes.

Acceptable Use

EdgeBreak is designed to provide secure market research, educational resources and portfolio management tools. By using the platform, you agree to use EdgeBreak responsibly, lawfully and in a manner that does not interfere with the platform, other users or our services.

• Lawful Use – You must use EdgeBreak only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms & Conditions.
• Account Security – You must not share your account credentials or allow unauthorised access to your EdgeBreak account.
• Platform Integrity – You must not attempt to interfere with, disrupt, damage or compromise the operation, security or availability of the EdgeBreak platform.
• Automated Access – You must not use bots, crawlers, scrapers, automated scripts or other automated methods to access or extract data from EdgeBreak unless expressly authorised by us.
• Reverse Engineering – You must not copy, reverse engineer, decompile, reproduce or attempt to discover the underlying source code, algorithms or proprietary systems used by EdgeBreak except where permitted by law.
• Misuse of Services – You must not use EdgeBreak to engage in fraudulent, deceptive, abusive, unlawful or harmful activities, or in any manner that may negatively affect other users or the platform.

Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, all intellectual property rights relating to the EdgeBreak platform remain the exclusive property of Crane Platform Labs or its licensors. Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to access and use EdgeBreak in accordance with these Terms. It does not transfer ownership of any part of the platform.

• Platform Ownership – EdgeBreak, including its software, design, branding, logos, graphics, layout, source code and user interface, is protected by intellectual property laws.
• Research Methodology – EdgeBreak's scanners, proprietary methodologies, ranking systems, market research processes and analytical models remain the intellectual property of Crane Platform Labs.
• Educational Content – Articles, tutorials, videos, Academy lessons, documentation, images and other educational materials may not be copied, reproduced or distributed without prior written permission.
• Limited Licence – Your subscription allows you to use EdgeBreak for your own personal research. It does not permit resale, redistribution, commercial use or public reproduction of EdgeBreak content.
• Restrictions – You must not copy, modify, republish, distribute, create derivative works from or commercially exploit any part of the EdgeBreak platform without our written consent.
• Feedback – If you submit suggestions, ideas or feature requests, you acknowledge that EdgeBreak may use, develop and implement those ideas without restriction or obligation to provide compensation.

No Financial Advice

EdgeBreak is a stock research and educational platform. The information, tools and resources provided through the platform are intended to assist users with conducting their own market research and should not be interpreted as financial, investment, legal, taxation or other professional advice.

• Research Platform – EdgeBreak provides research tools, market data, educational content and portfolio management features designed to support independent market analysis.
• No Investment Recommendations – EdgeBreak does not recommend that you buy, sell or hold any financial product, security or investment.
• User Responsibility – All investment decisions remain entirely your responsibility. You should conduct your own research and seek independent professional advice where appropriate.
• No Guarantee of Results – Historical performance, scanner results, educational examples and research outcomes do not guarantee future performance or investment success.
• Market Risk – Investing in financial markets involves risk, including the possible loss of some or all invested capital.

Limitation of Liability

• Platform Availability – EdgeBreak does not guarantee uninterrupted access to the platform and may experience maintenance, updates, outages or technical issues.
• Market Information – Market data, charts, scanner results and educational content are provided for research purposes only and may contain delays, inaccuracies or omissions.
• Third-Party Services – EdgeBreak is not responsible for the performance, availability or actions of third-party providers including brokerages, payment processors, market data providers or cloud infrastructure services.
• Investment Decisions – EdgeBreak accepts no responsibility for trading losses, investment outcomes or financial decisions made using information available through the platform.
• Technical Issues – We are not liable for losses arising from internet interruptions, hardware failures, software issues, unauthorised access or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
• Maximum Liability – To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, any liability arising from your use of EdgeBreak is limited to the amount you have paid to EdgeBreak for subscriptions during the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Suspension & Termination

EdgeBreak reserves the right to suspend, restrict or terminate access to the platform where necessary to protect the security, integrity and lawful operation of our services. Users may also close their EdgeBreak account at any time, subject to any outstanding legal or contractual obligations.

• User Cancellation – You may close your EdgeBreak account or cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting our support team.
• Suspension – We may temporarily suspend access where we reasonably believe an account has been compromised, is being used fraudulently or is otherwise creating a security risk.
• Termination – We may terminate your account if you materially breach these Terms & Conditions, misuse the platform or engage in unlawful or prohibited activities.
• Broker Connections – If your EdgeBreak account is suspended or terminated, connected brokerage accounts may be disconnected and access to broker-related features may cease.
• Subscription Access – Termination or cancellation may result in the loss of access to premium features and services associated with your subscription.
• Data Retention – Following account closure or termination, certain information may be retained where required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce these Terms or maintain platform security.

Changes to These Terms

As EdgeBreak continues to develop, we may update these Terms & Conditions to reflect new platform features, broker integrations, subscription services, legal requirements or improvements to our products and services.

Where we make material changes, we will update the Last Updated date on this page. Where appropriate, we may also notify registered users by email, through the EdgeBreak platform or by other reasonable means before the changes take effect.

• Platform Improvements – Updates may reflect new features, broker integrations, APIs, educational resources or changes to existing services.
• Legal & Regulatory Requirements – We may amend these Terms where necessary to comply with applicable laws, regulations or industry standards.
• Continued Use – Your continued use of EdgeBreak after updated Terms become effective constitutes your acceptance of those revised Terms.
• Discontinuing Use – If you do not agree with any updated Terms, you should stop using the EdgeBreak platform and cancel your account before the changes take effect.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, unless otherwise required by applicable law. By using EdgeBreak, you agree that any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the platform will be subject to the applicable courts and legal processes of New South Wales, Australia.

• Applicable Law – These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales and the Commonwealth of Australia.
• Jurisdiction – Subject to any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws, disputes relating to these Terms or the EdgeBreak platform will be resolved through the courts of New South Wales, Australia.
• Consumer Rights – Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer protection legislation, including the Australian Consumer Law.
